The associate degree program in Pre-Sport Administration provides students with the first two years of study toward their bachelor’s degree in sport administration. Sport administration focuses on the business side of the sport industry. Sport is an approximately $500-billion industry. Given the economic magnitude and pervasive nature of sport in society, the need has never been greater for educated/trained sport managers. However, competition is fierce for entry-level positions. Those with the best education have the best opportunity to obtain a position and be successful. UC Clermont's program was developed to meet the standards of the Sport Management Program Review Council. It provides graduates with a strong technical foundation and the sport business skills necessary to successfully enter the field of sport management.
